This was one of a few books that I've read recently that kinda didn't stick with me for very long.I expected a lot more and didn't get much satisfaction. The one thing I will say for Juliet Dark is that she really knows how to set a scene. Her descriptions of the locations and surroundings were detailed and vivid and really beautiful. I'd give her that.I also like the title, but I wanted - no needed - more. I loved the folklore of the places that Callie stayed in. Loved the history.I even loved Liam even though he was a succubus demon. Overall, for me, it just didn't bring it home. I expected more after reading the summary and getting a look at that gorgeous cover. Alas, I did not. The storyline dragged in a few places when I needed it to pick up the pace.
