3.5 stars.I really liked this book. Its heroine was seriously awesome and I laughed out loud quite a few times.She was snarky and sarcastic and SMART. I say smart because here's a girl that just found out that the new kids in school are vamps and that her frenemy from childhood, James, was back and... all grown up, and she's not all lovesick-googly-eyed over the vamps either. She actually wants to get rid of them.But then she finds out what James has been hiding and well, we know how that story goes, but she's not hasty in jumping into a relationship with him. She's finding out that the once little boy who'd thrown her Little Mermaid flip flop over the fence, which ended up in it being lost forever, isn't quite the same but... he gets her.This was a very well written story. It was fast paced and held my attention but the ending seemed a little anticlimactic, and just left me with more questions than answers really. That's probably the only downfall to this book. Meh.
