A definite improvement from the first book. I was able to feel for the characters more and understand them a bit better and the things they did, but again, Black's writing style is so... hard to connect with, for me. I read this one a lot slower than I did the previous book. The sexy times were better written and not as forced and rushed as the ones in the first book either. Appreciated that. The main faults are:the reason for the menage relationship that Deke and his cousin, Luc become involved in, the fact that the so-called stalker guy was - yet wasn't - so unexpected. That was a little ridiculous to me. And finally, the ending felt a little... too tidy?Let me just say that 3 stars may be a bit too generous even though the book wasn't horrible . I needed to stress on that.
