What I Liked: A very smart, sharp and witty female lead who doesn't back down even though she has to deal with the shenanigans caused by famous athletes that she has to do PR for.A very interesting male lead who isn't your typical famous athlete who does have a brain for things other than sports. Also, one that does have a softer side despite his nickname The Beast - and one that is a great parent who really cares about the welfare of his kid. And one that does have a lot to offer a woman besides the glaringly obvious.Also, the chemistry was pretty great between the two leads of this story. I really rather appreciated that. Even though they both seemed a bit hesitant to begin with due to their working relationship.Also, I need to say that Max "The Beast" Beasley is one hot guy. That is a major plus. Really good writing and it wasn't a very long read. What I Didn't Like: While it was a very interesting and engaging story, it did have a few faults. It was slightly cheesy at times, at some points I felt I'm getting sick of heroines who play so hard to get sometimes. I mean, if you want him and he wants you just do what needs to be done and get on with your lives. Jeez.I said that the writing was good, but I didn't mention that at times it kind of droned on and on for me. It almost felt a bit too wordy at times. A lot of words with no meat to them. In the end, the characters and their happily ever after won me over.
